The inspection team consists of our most confident and well-versed cadets. A group of 14 cadets who have the strongest grasp of the knowledge material presented to them, and those who present themselves with the most bearing during inspections, are chosen to be a member of this team. These cadets take care to have great attention to detail when preparing their uniforms. When competing at the regional and national level, these cadets are inspected by retired/active duty military members, in a test of keeping their confidence under pressure.
The inspection team is carefully selected each year by the program instructors, with recommendations from cadet leadership, based off of performance seen within classroom inspections. There is no afterschool practice for this team.
