A restricted certificate is awarded to a teacher with responsibilities and expertise not in the classroom. Educational Media Specialists, School Counseling, School Psychologist, School Social Work, and Speech Language Pathologists work under a restricted license and are need to meet all state requirements per the Statement of Eligibility provided by FLDOE to obtain the restricted license.
