Ms. Lavan-Ruescas received both her bachelors and master's degrees from the University of Florida.  She started teaching in 2015 and joined Osceola Middle School in 2019 teaching 7th grade Language Arts.

Ms. Lavan-Ruescas motto is "you are who you choose to be."
