Mrs. Kimberly Mardis

Ms. Mardis received her degrees from University of South Florida and Florida State University.  She specialized in Specific Learning Disabilities and Exceptional Student Education and was a member of the Council For exceptional education at USF and later as an SLD Teacher.  She has also earned her reading endorsement by taking master's level courses at FSU and UCF.  Ms. Mardis began teaching in 1997 joining the Osceola Middle School staff at that time.

Ms. Mardis is  a member of various literacy organizations including The Florida Literacy Council and IRA. She is currently Osceola's representative for Pinellas county's Literacy Council. She was also a member of Pinellas Literacy project and participates in Literacy activities at OMS and in the district.

Ms. Mardis' philosophy is "team work and a great attitude will always help you in school and life.  Reading is the key to everything!"

Ms. Mardis enjoys spending time with her own three children who are in various stages of their education from University level down to elementary school. In her free time, she enjoys reading novels and going to the beach.

Ms. Mardis teaches seventh grade reading.
