Coach Dayton received his degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  He has been teaching since 2009 and joined Osceola Middle School in 2020. He  teaches 6th grade Physical Education and Adapted Physical Education to the students at OMS.

Coach Dayton has won the SHAPE Florida 2019 Middle School Physical Education Teacher of the Year and the Pinellas County Schools 2019 Middle School Outstanding Physical Educator of the Year awards. 

Coach Dayton's philosophy is to teach students activities and fitness while maintain a safe learning environment.  The goal is to promote Health and Wellness with lifelong fitness.

Coach Dayton is experienced in Track and Field and Volleyball coaching at the middle school level.
