Mr. Tierney received his degree from Universtiy of South Florida.  He began teaching in 1999 and joined the Osceola Middle School staff in 2000.  Mr. Tierney teaches 6th grade Social Studies.

Mr. Tierney coached students to a 1st Place win in the 2009 Economic Quiz Bowl.

Mr. Tierney's philosophy is "Having a strong growth mindset.  We will conquer this together!"
