Leadership Center - New Building

Construction/Renovation of:

The project includes new construction of a 21st century Leadership Center to enhance the growth of working professionals within the district and the surrounding community. The project’s goal is to construct a new multi-use facility.                                 

New construction will include:

• New construction of a 14,690 square-foot multi-use facility
• Open concept plan that incorporates:
• Large training room that could also host community events
• Small break-out rooms adjacent to the large training room
• Serving kitchen area
• Use of photovoltaic panels is highly anticipated
• New asphalt parking lot for up to 50 cars and grass parking for overflow

Demolition will include:

• Removal of existing 7,400 sq. ft. Center for Professional Education Building
• Removal of existing 2,000 sq. ft. Ancillary Building

Project Status:

Week of 6/20/25

• Installing interior and exterior light fixtures, audio/video controls, cameras and lightning protection
• Grading the west and south sides of the building
• Installing sidewalk forms
• Completing solid surface walls in the restrooms
• Continuing installation of wood wall panels and acoustical ceiling tiles in the staff development rooms
• Installing plumbing fixtures in the casework
• Continuing with interior painting, double tee accent paint at the entry and painting exterior columns
